Divako enters Europe: Cześć, Poland.
Today we're officially live in Poland – our first market launch outside the Nordics. Same Divako platform, same APIs, same EU data residency, with a local partner presence to back it up. For us it's a milestone; for our Polish customers it's the start of much shorter conversations about smart metering, sub-metering and how to feed a billing system.
Why Poland, why now
Poland has been moving quickly on smart water and energy metering for several years. Many of the meter brands we already support – including Apator’s full Ultrimis line – are designed and built in Poland. The customer profile is familiar: municipalities, utilities, housing associations and industrial operators that need many devices read, normalised and pushed into a billing system without three vendors in the middle.
With Apator now widely deployed across our existing customer base, supporting the rest of the market this meter family is built for was a natural next step.
What’s new on day one
What stays the same
We are deliberately not running a separate product line for Poland. The platform that carries 20,000+ meters in Asker and 5,000+ in Oslo is the platform we are offering on day one to a Polish utility or housing operator. New connectors, new device profiles and new regulatory mappings get added centrally – everyone benefits.
What comes next
Over the coming months we’ll be announcing the first Polish rollouts and adding pieces of the local connector and billing-integration library.
