About Divako
Behind Divako is a team with decades of experience in metering solutions for utilities, housing associations and industry. The platform was born from a real need – our customers asked us to build it.
The team
Engineers, developers, field-installation specialists, support, design and management all work on one and the same platform. We talk directly with customers, and the people building the product deal every day with the real problems Divako has to solve.
Divako wasn't born from an idea to build yet another IoT platform – it grew out of years of work on real metering projects. We kept running the same project over and over: a utility would pick a meter vendor, a connectivity solution, an integration partner and a billing system, then spend the next months or years getting those systems to work together. Every new device needed its own integration. Problems were handled over email. The billing export usually meant an Excel file and manual work.
So we built the platform that connects those parts from the start. Divako ties devices, networks, data processing, analysis and integrations into one whole. The platform is vendor- and protocol-neutral and runs as a SaaS, so you don't build or maintain each integration yourself.
What we believe
These principles shape our technical choices, our contracts and how we work with customers.
Devices, networks and vendors change over time. A platform shouldn't force you to replace the whole system with them. Divako is deliberately vendor- and protocol-neutral: run LoRaWAN, wM-Bus, NB-IoT, Modbus and OPC UA in one system, and switch a vendor without switching platforms.
Measurements, integrations and consumption history are yours. We host the data in European data centres and give you access through APIs and exports. If you ever decide to leave Divako, you take your data with you. We want you to stay because Divako creates value for you – not because leaving would be hard.
We're deliberately a compact team. Customers have direct contact with the people who develop Divako and know its technical foundations. Feedback doesn't travel through layers of management – good ideas and real customer needs reach product development fast.
Where we are
Our teams work in Oslo, Flatåsen and Tallinn. The Divako platform runs on European cloud infrastructure, and our customers are in the Nordics, the Baltics and elsewhere in the EU.
